Nepal Records Increase in Tiger Population

In encouraging news on the wildlife front, Nepal has witnessed a jump in tiger population over the last two years during which the numbers of the wild cat went up from 155 to 176.

That's good news, Nepal can tell other countries what is working for them to increase the wild tiger populations. Educate poachers, etc. so they know why the should protect these beautiful wild animals, any many will:).

Twenty additional tigers is not a reason to celebrate, especially when the total population is under 200! Does anyone really think these animals have a chance of surviving...with under 200 left? Too little too late.

Thank You for the good news of the Bengal Tigers. Now to figure a hard hitting jail term for the poachers, we must all commit to putting our heads together and coming up with a permanet effective way to deal with these terrible
poachers and the people who buy from them!
