Signed, tu Cher. What's the point in creating a ban that won't take effect right away?!

It amazes me that we even have to debate this! Why would any business devoted to increasing crop yields want to continue making a product that could be killing bees? Without bees we lose far more crops than any pesticide could protect. And not just part of the yield, but the very plants themselves could go extinct.

Done.I have BEES that ave taken up residency in a compost bin for the last 2 years. I have approached beekeepers about RELOCATING them & they say "they are FERAL". All they want to do is KILL them. As far as I can see the bees are always busy in my garden & my neighbors mandarins have had their BEST crop.

We don't hear much about bees here in Israel, and the bees that are attracted to our honey suckle plants at home do not look like honey bees. They look more like small wasps. We do raise honey bees in this country but it's not an issue like I read here on Care2. I guess it's very important and I will pay more attention to it.

I believe in Italy they halved bee deaths by banning certain pesticides, so it does work, but we need to do it now.

The substance considers bee as a pest, makes sense it has been linked to harming effects. It has to be stopped!
