@ John Byrne; I do not disagree with you, sir but following that logic - the U.S. can't be trusted either seeing how we treated the native Americans, stole their lands and forced them on reservations. Tibet should be freed in order to right a wrong done a long time ago. Freeing them will not erase what happened - only the beginning to healing. Just like a bad person becoming a good person while accepting consequences for their actions. China may evolve into something better than its beginnings.

IF they go along with these projects ... a step in the right direction.

Just have to hope that this isn't one other fake promise to keep the public calm.

Another thing: will this be enough money....

Thanks anyway Cher.

Thank you China and now America should follow suit. Stop the big oil/coal and use solar/wind and alternate energy excluding corn. People are having more trouble with breathing like my sister who has asthma. First thing we should do is stop oil subsidies. It is up to us the American to get involved and do what is right for you.

I certainly don't believe this for I KNOW CHINA HAS A CONTRACT TO ACCEPT ALL COAL FROM A BIG MINING JOB IN AUSTRALIA. Why do we continue to believe China rhetoric?
