There isn't an excuse for extinction in this day and age. What happens to the creatures will also happen to man because we are all connected.

Signed and noted. Thanks Cher! I've seen lobby groups for corporations and industry groups but have yet to hear of a lobby group for beetles or butterflies. The Center for Biological Diversity is doing the best work in this area in the US. However I believe that the greatest concentration of the endangered invertebrate species are in the tropical rainforests:
