Good call. Now, what does a country do with an endangered skin?

Just kill the bastard and this will be the best deterant against other poachers/hunters and those involved in the murder of these poor animals. The death penalty is the only effective solution

This is great news! It's appalling to kill an animal for it's pelt.
And, this animal could be a keystone species - if it dies, the whole ecosystem it supports could collapse over time.

Catching the poacher and shooting him on the spot is one effective means of slowing this disgrace against our world. Catching the members of his supporting crew too would be even better. Feeding them to leopards would be poetic. But leave the guy who catches a leopard or other animal, does a detail photo map of its skin, and releases it unharmed alone; colouring a cowhide to match a leopard skin should be a potential solution to abuse of endangered animals.

I think Fred hit upon something; fed him to the leopards... No sympathy to anyone along the distribution chain !!

So did the person who was doing the smuggling go to jail or not? It;s not clear in the article. Why do I get the idea this crime will go unpunished?

Poor animal who knows how much it suffered before they killed it!

May the Almighty grant whoever did this no more no less what he/she/they deserve!
