Every year, the Australian live-export industry forces millions of animals to endure a hellish journey overseas only to be slaughtered abroad in ways that would be illegal in Australia. Now, two Australian whistleblowers have shed light on the suffering

Pure idiocy to ensure the deaths of so many animals because of improper food/ water/ ventilation on the trip.

I am an Australian and so ashamed at my government's failure to fully address this problem. The list of tradgedies goes on - sheep carriers catching fire, whole shiploads of animals being rejected and dying in unspeakable conditions, ships sinking - the list goes on. There is proof enough that anilmals that do make it to their destination are slaughtered inhumanely after weeks of suffering. There are rallies in all major Australian cities October 6th to try to put a stop to live animal export. I will be there.

Once again, brain-dead politicians put greed before animal welfare. Once again, brain-dead politicians have failed to protect the innocent and the vulnerable. Ban all LIVE EXPORT, stop the misery, stop the pain, stop the torture, stop the torment, stop the blatant and wanton cruelty, stop the abuse, stop the LIVE EXPORT of all animals to these most brutal countries that see animals as no more than an object, no more than a commodity.
