Everyone sprays way too much pesticide on their crops, golf courses, lawns, and it all gets carried by runoff into creeks and rivers- killing fish and amphibians....

With reduced frog and bee populations thanks to all the chemicals we spray; life could begin to get very difficult. I guess they could always program nano bees to cross pollinate the plants. How do you create a nano frog that will keep the insect population under control? I guess you could genetically alter the misquito and other insects to carry an N gene that would render them infertile. That way you could begin to reduce the bird populations that feed on insects. Oh where do we go from there; Borg like humans who only manifest corporally when necessary while for the most part their collective intelligence is ensconced in a super computer? Of course that doesn't include us now does it?

We just love frogs - sadly they are on the decline in Tasmania too. We collect the frog spawn wherever we can and put it into our pond....till they hatch. They are native frogs and quite small so I do not think their chances of survival are great, but we keep trying to increase their numbers. Thanks Cher, noted and signed.
