PETA Germany filmed in August 2012, the lobster farming in various METRO stores and was able to document the following:
The lobsters are tied. Their claws are bound together with rubber bands.
The lobsters are stacked, there are lobster loner.

What does the law say?

This also applies to invertebrates. It is a clear violation of law. METRO Group in Austria has been sentenced to pay a fine for that reason and therefore sought an attitude and sale of live lobsters! Our goal: METRO Germany to set the attitude and the sale of live and dead lobsters.

Inform the competent veterinary authority in your city.

No more live lobster at METRO!
METRO Cash & Carry Ltd sold nationwide in all of its 56 branches still live lobsters, which are stacked in bare tanks, tied up and then vegetate without food. I've always been disgusted at seeing live lobster in big tanks at grocery stores, where they have nothing to do and have their claws taped so they don't fight, but especially of course so people can pick them out like death row prisoners and have them live cooked. Should not be. I also never eat at Red Lobster.
