If you think itís time for the Australian authorities to act, then please e-mail Joe Ludwig, the minister of agriculture, fisheries and forestry, at

and politely ask him to ban the ships of death

Noted and email sent:
I am writing to you today to please stop the shipping of cattle and other animals to Egypt where they will face mutilation before being slaughtered. Just the shipping alone is painful and cruel for these animals.

The inhumane treatment of animals being raised for food is becoming a problem on a global scale and people are not going to allow this to continue. We need a starting point to raise the bar on the manner in which animals are treated and you, sir, could be that starting point by stopping these shipments of death for these animals.

I thank you for your time and consideration in taking this matter seriously.

Australia has reached an agreement with Egypt and their ears will not be cut off before slaughter. I'm sure the slaughter will be barbaric!

Noted and email sent. What the hell is wrong with humans - we are meant to be the guardians of God's animals, yet we continue to persecute, torture, maim, slaughter needlessly. It is just absolutely sickening.

Humans are cruel in their treatment of animals and we should be ashamed. Signed. The middle East has a long history of cruelty.
