Thanks for taking action to curb global warming!

In the face of deadly superstorms, record droughts, and record high temperatures, polluters and their allies in Congress are working overtime to convince our politicians thereís no need to do anything about global warming.

N&S For too many years many people really believed that global warming was a myth. Recent years have shown more natural disasters than ever before. Mother Nature has had it. TY Cher

the best time for action was decades ago, the next best time is now........President Carter and his solar panelled White House looks smarter and smarter vs the bought and sold by BIG POISON POLLUTION energy President Reagan.....wonder how different our environment could be if we had foresight.

I live in Colorado and, after takung great care to separate and move my irises this summer mid-August so they would be in the ground six weeks prior to the first frost ... well, we have had a very few days where the temperature went below 32F overnight, and one day when it snowed an eighth of an inch, I am really still waiting. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and the high today was 74F. The irises think it is Spring now. I know, first world problems, but I'm not so much complaining as aghast at the extent of the change. Signed, of course.

Let's get to the bottom line.
.
Restrictions cost money and Big Business wants nothing to decrease their profit margins.
When the facts of climate change and/or global warming are believed by most of the scientific community, why should we 'not' believe them? OR, should we cave to the pressures of the greedy?
Does the health of our citizens mean nothing? Are clean air and water not necessary for a healthy future?

This whole issue is so disgusting!
How many of the company owners, who contribute to our planet's destruction, live near these disaster areas, themselves. We all know the answer to this question.
~IT IN NONE.~

Signed petition with comments that will probably have the government ringing my doorbell. I have to wonder why it is that the "common" people see what's going on and knows who's responsible for destroying our air, food and water, yet our government seems to be in the dark. Corporate money seems to be able to buy a lot of sunglasses nowadays. I'm getting the bumper sticker "I Love My Country But Fear My Government"!
