Watch the grand push to fracking and horizontal drilling (toward development of LNP), rules and regulations to hinder private expansion in favor of government expansion, tanker-building, pipeline construction, and transport terminal building to move the LNP ... all with a thrust to oil independency and future ability to move stock outside the U.S. for leverage.

Before making such a sweeping declaration about car's fuel efficiency, I question whether his administration talked to American car manufacuturers to see if this is possible.
I would have like to have read a realistic regulation, put into place within the next 5 years, developed accordingly.How much environmental damage is going to be created by fuel exhaust in the nest 12 years!
Again, putting policy in place that has no bearing on the present.

OF COURSE it's possible! The American auto industry once lead the world....before it got into bed with the big oil companies!

If we WANT to do it....Americans CAN do it!

And, once it's available....we all need to use this technology because it's in our best interest!
