After four years of planning, Indonesia announced at the U.N. climate talks in Doha, Qatar that it will set aside land, roughly the size of Singapore, as part of a rainforest conservation project.

this is a great step in the right direction. i have a friend from indonesia and the environment wasn't a subject her or her family, which still live in indonesia, knew much about.

Thank goodness for that! At the rate they were allowing their trees to be cut down, they were contributing to a global catastrophe!
Well done Indonesia for taking a stand and standing up for the trees......the lungs of our planet!
