What Does the Wolf Say?

The question now is: Can those of us who "consider wolf " in our ecosystem health howl loudly enough to drown out the voices of prejudice? The brutal and shortsighted state wolf control laws show how ranchers' and hunters' intolerance still dominates

The wolf plays such an important role in our ecosystems- which is why the government took the time (and money) to re-introduce them after hunters all but made them extinct in the Rocky Mountains to begin with.

They keep herd animals healthy, and not only feed themselves, but many birds and other animals with what they leave behind.

If there is a problem with livestock, then ranchers need to find responsible and solutions to fence in their livestock.

This is not rocket science, folks.

This is wonderful! We got national attention! I can't wait for my boss to see this! I have to call her to make sure she is aware of this. Amazing and I am going to write to Huffington and give them my gratitude. This can push the Wolf Wars to a whole new level! THANKS CHER! You made my whole week!

Thanks for the article. I'm glad to read the statement about Obama's failed commitment toward these animals. With Salazar in the picture, who knows what will happen.
