The greatest factor is that the wind industry ignores safe siting guidelines and ends up killing many migratory birds and bats.

Noted - we're getting objections to wind farms in the Scottish Highlands because of the noise, danger to birds and (key issue?) damage to tourism - would you visit a national park if there were wind turbines? Does it depend how many?
