Good to hear. They should be protected since their doing an important and noble job but like the article stated, "Poachers are highly organized and heavily out-fitted, more so than the park guards, who are often poorly paid, ill-equipped, and yet risk their lives to protect the world's wildlife."

Thanks Cal.

Thanks Robert for your words, your very much correct, we are a front line org working against poachers. And I am really surprised how much we are getting noticed this past year and the incredible support we are getting. :) It's been so hard dealing with them. They have all the money, they are not poor. The poachers are rich and have very high tech weapons and facing them, they are demons, and have the animals already picked out and go in force to torture them. Its heartwrenching losing so many. We have lost 1000's this past year. And personally, I am walking in a zone at the moment. a shell... of who i was before Jan 2012..sigh

G-d bless all those who stand in the balance for wildlife. I hope all the tigers survive.

Thanks for this post Cher. Tons of kudos to all of those who risk their lives daily to protect our precious wildlife. I read in another article that China is offering to pay poachers, who poach as their only source of income, to protect rather than poach. I think if more of these types of offers could be made to poachers, we could lessen the amount of poachers and save more wildlife.
