The death of the tigress appeared to be the fallout of a territorial fight between two big cats, SP (Sawaimadhopur) Param Jyoti said.

Very sad, but at least it was from natural causes and not poaching. I guess that is the only silver lining I can think of for this loss.

A good rebirth for you Ms. Cat. Such is the way of nature.

Very sad news. Glad it wasn't a human that caused her death.

I thought tigers fought briefly because of the potential lethalness of their size & power. They are so beautiful, thank God they didn't inhabit N.Americans, as surely as we're still killing wolves big cats are in the crosshairs too.

This happened on their turf and their terms. Easier to except this although sad, then stupid humans having killed or tortured them.

Noted and sad but at least it was nature not humans who was to blame for her demise.

this is so sad. Clashes between animals will only happen more often because of our destruction of their habitat leaving a smaller area for them to live in.

The picture reminds me a lot of couples when they fight. This is a sad loss but it does happen. Outside of mating season the females are fair game. That's the cycle of life in the world of tigers.

It's nature's way... RIP Tigress.

That happens some times in the natural cycle of things. Tigresses and cubs put a strain on food resources; especially when the territory is limited. Even during mating it can be hazardous for the female.
