Besides the human health and environmental concerns, legal issues may also become a real possibility. Agribusiness companies who practice genetic modification generally patent the genes they have engineered. Because genes exist in living organisms,

I think it is through food and water contamination that the people in power, whom ever they are, are enforcing a form of population control, while making certain industries rich. most people would be besides them self if they could not reproduce freely, and very few people think to keep their family small because of overpopulation problems. So there it is our food and water will never be safe as long as we reproduce like mice and not responsible humans that have the ability to reason. I hope I'm wrong.

AquaBounty is another company much like Monsanto.

Frankenfish must NOT be allowed to be released into the wilds.

The FDA is full of Monsanto shills as is the USDA.

Foods must be labeled! We need to protect ourselves from all forms of GMO's for the safety of our health.

Ty, Cher.

Obviously Monsanto and the likes are spending a lot of money to keep us in the dark, they refuse to label the truth. What are they scared off? Now I will have to put Salmon on my list as a no, no. Well, I love North American salmon, but I will not eat GMO cripples that could harm my health and that of wild salmon. If that permit gets approved there will be no North American salmon on my plate anymore, and that is a promise. I am serious about that just as I was with corn products. We totally boycott corn products, I do not even go to the movies anymore, without popcorn it is not the same. My list of GMO suspects is growing.
Just to show how paranoid people are becoming. Off season to us in Australia we saw cherries in the supermarket last year, I looked at the label, made in USA. I told my wife to put the punnets back because they might be GMO. Some people overheard our conversation and also put their punnets back onto the shelf. There you are, without proper labeling American growers will get hurt badly.
