The first line of this article was perhaps on of the saddest statements I have read coming from a foundation:"Scientists working for the IUCN have identified 100 species they fear will be allowed to die out so they have no obvious benefit to humans." I don't know of the IUCN, but apparently, they are worthless.

What is IUCN?

The International Union for Conservation of Nature is the world’s oldest and largest global environmental organization

No obvious benefits for humans? That in itself is an incredibly infuriating statement. Perhaps we have no obvious benefits for them!

Amazing creatures, so sad we, the real animals, don't recognise the damage we're causing.

Some very beautiful photographs are shown in this list. Wish there had been more photographs in this article.

Each specie, wheather an animal, plant, fish or insect, play an important part in the ecology system.

Man, on the other hand, may be the only specie that kills its own specie with all kinds of ways and means...
Man is the most destructive force on the planet. Maybe it is man, the human specie, that should go extinct.

Ty, Cher.

That is scary, since everything is valued by its use for humans, instead of its value of ecosystem and as living creature! Sad, sad, sad!
Thanks Cher for posting
