Reading the article about this case, seems the owner was not will to give up ownership of Charlie. I read all the reply's and they may have helped the owner have a change of heart. Oh the power of our voices :)

Good news, Looks like Charlie will not be getting euthanized after all.

If it's true that the Ceasar Millan foundation want to help Charlie and if his owner didn't know how to look after the dog properly he really needs to let the dog go if it's going to save it's life!!! There's something else I must say I've been helping people with dog problems for the past 15 years and nearly 100% of the time when the dog is behaving badly it's because the owner hasn't got a clue as what to do with the animal. This is not good news.
If anyone should be euthanized it is the dumbarse ugly cop who rode a horse through a designated off leashed dog area.Do not euthanise Charlie he has done nothing wrong.

Poor dog , very sad news not a good start in New Year :( . I hope this poor dog will get second chance . I feel very sorry for that horse but everybody deserve second chance that includes animals too ! Please release Charlie ! Don't hurt him !

Did Charlie get kicked by th horse.? WHAT DO THEY THINK CHARLIE, A DOG WAS GONNA DO.? HE WAS DEFENDING HIMSELF IN A CHAOTIC AND NEW SITUATION.!!! LET CHARLIE LIVE, HIS OWNERS SHOULD HAVE KEPT HIM OUT OF THIS CONFLICT, IF POSSIBLE.!!! THIS DOES NOT MEAN HE IS A VICIOUS DOG, HE WAS JUST REACTING THE ONLY WAY A DOG CAN IN THAT SITUATION. !!!!!!

so the choice is, give the dog up to someone who knows how to deal with a dog such as this, or euthanasia?If I couldn't handle the dog, I would give him up to someone who can, rather than let the die.

I hope they reconsider. It's not the dog's fault. It's almost always the humans fault but the animal has to suffer and in this case means death. There are other ways to do things. Death isn't always the answer. If the owner had to take the dog to training classes, then the dog and owner will learn something. Killing the dog - no body learns anything.
