Arizona Fish and wildlife shot the only Jaguar in our state saying is was sick, but it was only dehydrated. We must save this beautiful animal. It's very important to the eco-system. Man, as far as I can see, doesn't contribute anything to the eco-system.

It is good to hear that the Costa Rican government is working with conservationist group Panthera to protect remaining Jaguar habitat. Now if we can just get our own government to do the same with wolves and other wild animals that need protection.

Great news and story Cher! I love Jaguars and the Mayan myth about them was very cool. It's great that Panthera's on the scene!

great update about efforts of Costa Rican government - wonderful example of how governments can work with environmental organizations in order to further a common goal!
