It can be a crime to leave pets outside in extreme temperatures without food and shelter

I am on a neighborhood watch for this, as well as other friends around our houses here, with the many burnt lots from the 2011 wildfires. This also applies for thunderstorms, high winds, and hail. Fireworks is a busy time for us as well. Thanks, Cher for this awareness.

I will never tolerate animal abuse or neglect no matter what the consequences may be.
I always put animals first.

I only hope that when reported, these animals are protected by abuse from Dog Catchers & the like. Thanks, Cher.

Most animal controls are so overworked. Depending on the circumstances, if you have a garage, try to lure the animal into it. Set down paper if its a dog , even a box of sand will do for a cat. Eventually, any responsible animal control will get in touch with you.

I bring them home and sort things out later. The first priority is for the safety and well-being of an animal.
