Australia has so much land that they dont live on so why are you culling the camels Please stop this and find an alternative You took them over to australia with no thought for the camels in the first place only the transport they would provide Now you are going to cry wolf because they have adapted and settled there There has to be a better way Why is it when people cant cope with the problems anymore that they created its kill and more kill

Why is it that whenever an animal population becomes stable with healthy numbers, the first thing people want to do is go out and slaughter them. It is very disturbing to me that private contractors are allowed to just go out and kill camels from the air, and then LEAVE THEM THERE! This is wrong on so many levels and it is unacceptable. Please stop this senseless killing, it is cruel and unnecessary.

Noted and "signed" with comment: "Although camels are non-indigenous, that does not mean that they should be killed. If camels are a problem for native animals, alternatives to killing include returning them to their original homelands and contraception/sterilization. The argument that camels are not indigenous and need to be killed does not make sense because authorities in Australia kill millions of indigenous kangaroos whilst encouraging new immigrants to come into Australia where they have a much higher ecological impact than a person living in Europe."
