One other thing - let the fire department know about your pets - and where they like to hide. Put a sticker on all windows that let's the fire department know you have pets within. My fire department has a card with all the names, ages and hiding places for my furry friends, it just might help if the unexpected should happen.

Very important info., especially if you live alone to have Plan B's for kitties if you get sick.
