Noted with such sadness for the dogs and the persons who died, however if the owners of these poor dogs would take care of them and be responsible for their pets then these dogs would not have to suffer living on the streets with no comfort or kindness shown to them and now they will be seen as killers and be abused in the streets or rounded up and killed!!!!! Heartbreaking for the street dogs.Thank you Cher.Liz Xx

Spay and neuter is required.I don't believe that these dogs killed these 4.
I think this is very suspect and believe they are blaming the dogs when humans killed these people.

I'm not sure the facts have been presented to us to well, therefore I'm standing with the dogs. Thank you.

Tragic, but how do they know it was these dogs that were involved? Street dogs live in desparation and more harm is done to dogs by people than the other way around.

Animal rights groups are going to have to come out in great numbers to defend these animals. In NJ, they would have been put down.

What a terrible tragedy. I hope for the sake of the dogs that they are found innocent and if there can be a silver lining to this story, it would be that at least now the city is more aware of the plight of street dogs and steps are being taken to spay/neuter them. I hope further protective actions for the dogs are taken. My sympathies to the families for their losses. Thanks for the post Cher.

Something doesn't make any sense here ... I stand by the dogs, I sure hope that they can straighten things out there for the sake of the animals ...

From the pic of the stray dogs, they appear too weak to kill a human! I pray GOD that some very SPECIAL DOG LOVERS will have a heart and ADOPT them and take these poor Starvin' Marvins to a vet ASAP!

That is a lot of BS, those people were not killed by any dog, if there are teeth marks is because the when these people were killed they were dumped in the area where these poor dog were living, and they being hungry they bit the people.

It looks like Mexico is still living in the dark ages, how stupid can you be, saying that these dogs killed those people!

Appalling. I love dogs and to know what they already endure daily and now most likely thing will get even worse for the if that's possible. This image of these sad and starving dogs is heartbreaking. We need to do something, anything.

This is the fault of that society and the way they mistreat and ultimately discard dogs on to the streets to fend for themselves. Dogs have been domesticated and now require human society to take responsibility for their welfare. I hate to think what this will mean for Mexico's street dogs.

why do people have dogs if they aren't going to take care of them?

Why has the dog population been allowed to get so out of control in Mexico ?If all the dog owners' were responsible, looked after them properly and had them spayed or neutered when they were puppies, there would not be so many dogs' roaming the streets .And for the record I don't believe these dogs' killed those people either.

This is a typical knee jerk reaction round up any dogs and kill them as an example like they do with great white sharks when there is an attack. I realise they haven't killed any yet bet unfortunately they will at some

the world is going in such a heartless path. I am sad people were killed. yet one must think about how Mexico has drug lords, how do we know that stray dogs did this? maybe drug lords had them killed by trained dogs? I do not trust Mexico. I have seen how they torture and slaughter horses, kill others for drugs, money and for power status If they would spay and neuter and have a compassion for animals they would not have this going on if it is indeed by stray dogs..

Oh God! Another lie ! Those dogs didnt kill anyone. Good thing that now its clear by the authorities that those poor dogs are innocent, and of course thnx for the Protectores de los Animales.
