Baby Elephants Being Abused For The Tourist Trade In Thailand ! PLEASE SIGN ! !

The abuse done to baby elephants torn from their mothers, starved for days and beaten whilst tied up is absolutely appalling! Elephants are gentle animals and very family orientated, to lose their mothers and then be treated like this is dreadful.

There are so many bad things going on in these tourist places and I can't comprehend why people go. If no tourist ever went until they sorted out their animal welfare things would have to improve. There are far too many whose attitude is that they will go once and see for themselves - all these onces add up. Like bullfights - same attitude prevails there.

There is not much good to say about the way Thailand abuses animals both local and foreign, wild and domesticated; so my question is how we could stop people from travelng there?? Yes it´s warm, but there are warm places elsewhere...

S & N I truly do not understand cruelty to anything, be it animal or human! After the catastrophic tsunami and the death of over 250,000 people you would think the people of Thailand would have acquired some empathy. From this sadistic example of cruelty it is obvious they did not. How sad.

Goverment of Thailand are you people that backward & stupid.??? These so called animal trainers must be controlled in the first place. Use the iron bull hooks to pork their butts first.
