Pollution in Chinese cities, including the capital Beijing, has reached dangerously high levels. The entire city is covered under a thick layer of smog that has put the health of the city's inhabitants at risk. The smog situation is caused by China's lax

Signed & Noted. Thanks Cher. Let them breathe their own pollution, I feel no pity for them, after all I have a China museum in my garage, China inferior goods that never worked or broke down soon after purchase are piled up in my garage. I can fix some Items but most end up in landfill. Retailers never admit responsibility, but fill their pockets. I am slowly able to dismantle the China museum simply because I enforced a total boycott on Chinese goods in our family. The process is slow, because none of their plastics are recyclable, land fill only.
For an example: I bought expensive luxury items, like dish washer, washing m/c and dryer from Miele Germany 30 years ago, guess what: they are still working to pefection. My neighbours thought I was mad to pay the price. But I did not have to buy new Asian appliances every couple of years.. For me it paid off big time, it payed for itself many times over. The pollution effect being minimal.
We recently bought a chinese made convection oven which lasted 10 minutes, even though it was a store brand, they never accepted responsibility. I tried to repair the obvious problem (micro switch) but trying to open the appliance all plastic components just broke, landfill. But I repaired our previous 20 year old De Longhi (Italy) convection oven and I re-commissioned it and it is still working now.(It only needed 2 diodes 11c each).
Lesson learned, old European or North American goods are of better quality and most of all, they can be repaired. As for China, choke in your own pollution, no traditional medicine can help you. After all China has no heart, it kills everything from the cockroach to the magestic elephant. The sleeping Tiger is going to self destruct as any previous dictatorship has in the past. Sooner or later.

About 40 years ago, I had heard that China was one of the places where the people took good care of the land. I hope that China will take care the land and all that lives again — by restoring the air, water, and land to a new beautiful China -- like the one I was told about.
Signed.
