Cher Away

Big John, an approximately six-foot-long sand tiger shark, is inhumanly being held in a small aquarium in the Ukrainian capital's newest mall. The shark's scratched nose is proof that the tank is too small; it cannot turn around in its tank comfortably

An aquarium cracked open at a mall not to long ago. Another situation that could happen. This is so sad for the shark. He needs to go home in the ocean where he belongs.

Is sand tiger shark in close endanger of extinction under International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List and Queensland's Natural Conservation act.

Are mall trying to protect species from becoming extinction? Was sand tiger shark injuries during a rescue from boat? Lots of un-answers question on why is there beside exhibit to visitor.

To protect species, mall nearly need bigger tank to hold.

For every action there is a reaction. According to the law of karma, if we cause pain and suffering to other living beings, we must endure pain and suffering in return, both individually and collectively. We reap what we sow, in this life and the next, for nature has her own justice. No one can escape the law of karma.

signed and noted. i don't see why there's a need to have such a large 'fish' in a mall, simply as it's called 'ocean plaza'. why not have regular sized fish instead and make it more appealing to look at and let the shark go to a better home?!

I think a boycott of the mall is a great idea. Obviously you can't reach these people with an appeal to their humanity...apparently they have none. So hit 'em in the pocketbook! That should wake them up! Free Big John!

Martin Luther King Jr. is quoted as saying, “Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.”
How can humanity be so noble and so cruel?
