How is the world going to get ahead of the poachers, when you have a country that simply allows all laws, and its protections to be broken?

I agree with most of the commenters. Why aren't the sellers prosecuted? Go after them. Don't allow this. Prosecute the sellers to the max, and then some. These cubs were taken against their will from their moms and that is a crime.

This just shouldn't be! It seems that in some countries although there are laws against keeping wild animals as pets and Quatar is a member of CITES too, there is little to no enforcement of laws to protect these animals who are so endangered and at end up at the mercy of ruthless traders who just want to make money of these poor animals and governments lack the will to do anything to stop this horrific trade in wildlife! We can't even get exotic animals banned in the U.S.! It is very tragic and unless something is done soon to stop this dreadful situation, many of these species will become extinct!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............. We must pass and enforce laws to end this. The fat cats who pay this kind of $ should be penalized to the max.

Those people have so much money they don't know what to do with it. How about they put it towards the fight against poaching? Assholes.

Selling and killing our beloved species of any kind for profit or any reason is baffling to me. These heartless monsters should get the stiffest punishment imaginable.
