Noted and sent email. Appalling how man can treat our fabulous creatures. Makes me so angry. I wish we could do more.

Noted and emailed. So wish I could free all these precious animals and take them to some remote island where they can live in peace away from the horror called mankind.

To the Honorable Maitri Inthusut:

Dear Sir,

I am writing to you today to respectfully request that you stop the Phuket Zoo from bringing in any more animals from the wild and to demand that the zoo improve the living conditions for those animals that are housed there already.

Animal that live in zoos suffer from lack of stimulation, space, privacy and mental depression. This results in self destructive and repetitive behaviors such as bar biting, pacing, head bobbing and other unnatural acts.

By improving the living conditions of these animals, you would be at least partially helping to relieve the stress and mental anguish these animals are suffering. Being captured and held captive is already traumatic but living in an unnatural environment is even more so.

I thank you for your time and attention to this critical matter.

Very respectfully yours,

Ms. Tamara Hayes
