Parisian architecture firm Studio 1984 submitted a human nest made of bales of straw as their entry into a competition hosted by the Archi<20 Festival de L'Architecture in Alsace, France.

France is an extremely inovative country. I have a book from there about green buildings. It represents all regions of the country. Some of the building are schools or offices. Some are apartment buildings and others are houses. Besides photos there are even techy drawings about the energy systems. It's pretty cool.
