Today I left work and came home. My cats were overjoyed, getting right to work on purr therapy.

Noted. My kitties are used to me being sick :-( so we all huddle on the couch and watch re-runs of NCIS and Criminal Minds.

my cats get confused when i am not well. they keep checking up on me to see if i am still breathing. after all, who is going to feed them and play with them and hug them nonstop?

Mine come and cuddle up to me and stay with me for a long time when I'm in bed with a bad cold.

It's incredible, they just KNOW when you are not feeling good. If I take off work because I am not well, the "boys" will get me up regardless to get fed. It's when I go back to bed do they realize "this is new"....and they will stay with me until I get up.
