I put out their cage days before the actual trip. They love going in and out of it. I put a cover over the box while its in the car, I also talk to them for the first little while.

Noted. Excellent article! Also, you can get Feliway Spray from your vet or high-end pet supply. A little pricey, but it goes a long way and really helps my kitties settle down. I use it at home too for stressful times - like when we were remodelling. Kitties were confined in one room with a few zaps of Feliway.
