How nice it would be if the money that was spent on researching an owl turning it's head was spent on helping VETERANS find housing and food. I am all for saving abused and slaughtered animals but to me this is a waste of taxpayers money that could be put to HUMAN HELP. Sorry if I offended anyone but to bad.

Different money from different people from different places, Diana. These studies help us understand more about animals, for the veterans, you need to talk to your own government about that, not the science journal.

Not that I gave this a lot of thought, it was still interesting to find out owl's' capability involves its blood flow.
