Parts of Europe are now "death traps" for migrating songbirds, according to the Committee Against Bird Slaughter, which reports that millions of birds are illegally poached each year. The birds are often either pickled or poached for a Cypriot "delicacy"

It concerns birds, so you know I most definitely noted, signed with comment below, twittered and google shared. Thanks Cher.
I find this slaughter to be so vicious and cruel. Are you running out of other food sources that you now have to turn to illegally killing migrating songbirds, many of which are endangered? Killing birds just so that people can eat a "delicacy" is wrong. Plain and simple. You should be ashamed for needlessly slaughtering birds, especially in the manner in which it is being done.

This is why I hate Chef Anthony Bourdain so much- he willingly ate an endangered songbird, just because it is a "delicacy" and he wanted to taste it for himself.
