Noted. Signed. Shell Oil is guilty, not only of contaminating Nigeria's environment with pollutants; they are also guilty of using death squads to move or to exterminate villages located in the way of favorable drilling sites.

This story does not surprise me.
I worked with a company that was a contractor for Shell Oil in 1980-82. They were building a plant high up on top of a mountain in Colorado testing to make jet fuel out of rock, The money they were spending was very clear to me even back then, wasted. These big shots live high on the hog while wasting money and land to while we support these scavengers. Yes it has to stop. I have not had anything to do with Shell since the 80's. Signed of course.

Signed with a comment, at Force Change. Noted here.
Please take a look at the book "Idiot America, How Stupidity Became a Virtue in the Land of the Free," by Charles P. Pierce. Among other things, he delves into the idiocy of the Creation Museum, in Kentucky, where a dinosaur model is displayed wearing a saddle!

Sorry, that book reference was related to the Missouri bill for the teaching of "Intelligent Design," also on the Force Change site; which teaching people might also petition against.
