Is Preventive Vet Care for Cats Really So Strange?

Some people think it's odd for a cat to get a yearly health checkup. I certainly don't. Do you?

it never occurred to me to NOT take my cats in once a year.

You should always give your animals (in this case Cats) the best of care.

I like to wait 18 months because it's so expensive and my cats don't go outside. I can't have anymore pets because of lack of income.

I have two cats who go outside and two who stay in and they both have the same yearly checkups and booster injections. I owe it to my cats to give them the best care possible

some people are ignorant and backward period for not knowing cats like dogs and humans get old, sick and other not too nice things happening just by living on earth ! kept birds too should be taken to vet on regular basics.

Who on earth ever said it was strange?? Stupid people! Of course all my pets go to work with me every year.
My two seniors go twice. That's not counting dental visits and other necessary visits. Yes, it's expensive, but when we adopt a new critter they go right into the budget plan. I wouldn't have them if I didn't give them the best of care.
BTW, you wouldn't think vets were expensive if you had any idea of the expenses we have to pay besides trying to make a living at it!

Why is it strange? Preventing costly and often disastrous illnesses? Of course all my companions come to work with me every year. The three seniors go twice and then there're dental visits and other incidentals. Every time we adopt a new critter they go straight into the budget plan. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Health check ups are just as important for our pets as for ourselves.
