Lead Poisoning Is Leading Cause of Death for Condors: Bullets Eaten While Scavenging

Animal advocacy groups are pushing for a California bill to ban lead bullets in hunting, on the basis that the metal is poisoning the environment and birds that eat animals killed by hunters.

Isn't that sad? Even more reasons for gun control.

You cannot currently send a star to Christeen because you have done so within the last week.
Green stars to Arielle and Cher too.

C'mon, California, you've done so much to save our condors from extinction. Don't drop the ball now.

It is also killing bald eagles and other predator birds and it makes me furious that the bastards who already feel the need to go out and slaughter innocent animals for sport and so they can trade stories of who has the bigger penis, can't at least compromise and not kill non target animals as well. Way to go you manly men! I wish I could give every animal that you hunt a gun also so at least there would be a level playing field. I wonder how determined to go hunting you would be then! Sorry for my diatribe, I am hating on the killers today. Thanks Cher.

There is no reason to murder animals. Less than 4% of the population hunts. Hunting should be banned.

Noted with thanks Cher.
We have known for many many years that lead is poisonous yet nothing was done about bullets! I certainly hope there will be a ban on lead bullets soon.
