Noted. Don't dare to vilify shelters for doing what we are forced to do! Where do you propose we find the funding for all these public works projects? We don't even have the funds to shelter and feed the animals we have and our staffs are lucky to get paid at all. Address your issues to government agencies!

When will Miami county animal centres start getting some education and help to the people to stop all the killings of stray animals This should not be happening You have to start making people responsible for spaying even if it needs government help to get the situation under control There should not be all these killings Its the innocent animals that suffer for irresponsible humans

S&N thanks

Please use less drastic methods of cutting the shelter population down. Please remember these are sweet, helpless, dogs and cats who cannot defend themselves. (Barb Knight)

Noted and signed - dear God, can you not rather kill these barbaric and atrocious things you call humans! It is wicked, sickeningly cruel and I hope that their fate is worse than these poor animals. Heartless, callous bastards.

Signed & Shared! It's always so tragic when shelters don't seem to take the initiative to greatly improve their animals chances of getting adopted! Off site adoptions have been very successful in placing more animals, listing shelter pets with petfinder.com, appearing at local events with shelter dogs to advertise and promote your shelter, networking with no-kill rescue groups, and holding fund raisers and attending adoption events at petsmart too! What is wrong with Miami Dade County Animal Shelter?! How come they are so uncaring about the lives of these poor animals! They could even get tips from shelters who are much more successful at placing animals! This whole shelter sounds like it needs to be overhauled and staffed with people who really care about animals and aren't just getting by to collect paychecks-
beginning with the staff!
