Most loyal,forever friend...shame they didn't adopt him. Sad for the boy,he never learned a valuable lesson about true trust...missed the boat on that one. But maybe, they just couldn't adopt,maybe their circumstances forbid them to have a dog???

I hope the dog gets a warm loving home, a real good ending would be for the boy to adopt this dog, but nothing is perfect in this life, I guess...

Such a touching story. I do hope that D. J. will be able to visit 'Kelly" sometimes.Too bad that the family did not adopt D.J., but they must of had special reasons.
