Lack of Care: Hut-Bound Baby Snow Leopard Misses the Jungle

Life's not easy if you injure yourself while jumping rocks on a river - especially if you are a furry little snow leopard, left languishing in a small brick hut, away from the jungle.

I do somewhat agree that you should let nature take it's course ~ but , of course, I still rehab injured and orphaned wildlife. Can't find it in my heart to just let them struggle and die.

I hope the best thing happens for the baby. I don't want him to suffer.

I wouldn't be surprised if it ate who ever was holding it captive!

The snow leopard may miss its natural habitat but not the jungle. They are not a "jungle" animals but rather live their lives among the rocks and cliffs in the mountains well above the rain forests.

It took a little search on WWF but, I did find that there is a place for a donation to help this little guy.

This isn't right. I'm sure there has to be a rehab place for the cub to go, heal and be released. With so few snow leopard's you would think this would be a priority of the world. God Bless this little guy and all who are trying to care for it. I hope the best for it.

I don't believe in the "let nature take it's course" mentality. We kill off enough wildlife intentionally; we should try to save and reintroduce injured wildlife whenever we see the need.

Hoping that this little snow leopard finds a better home until it recuperates, and is reintroduced into the wild.
Thanks Cher.
