Blind Buddy

Buddy was surrendered to Catskill Animal Sanctuary six years ago because, as a newly-blind horse with explosive and unpredictable panic attacks, he was too much for his family to care for.

Animals simply accept and adjust to their *disabilties* and don't use them as an excuse not to enjoy life. There's a lesson to be learned there!

The family did the right thing to surrender him rather than to send him off for slaughter or whatever, poor horse.

I'm saddened that both eyes were removed but happy that he's adjusting and can live out his life in peace!!!

Very sad but a comfort to know that he is safe and will have a long life ahead.

Poor horse. Too bad there wasn't another way to cure him, besides removing his eyes. I hope he can adjust to the blindness. Sad story.

I'm so sorry that Buddy is blind, but he will show all of us, that life goes on. We have a lot to learn from animals, and I think Buddy was put on this earth to teach us all a lesson. So glad he is being given a second chance.

I also agree with Barbara D. (can't send a green star as have already done so today).
There is so much that we can learn from animals.
Good Luck Buddy!!
