We need one strict International law that makes killing animals just too expensive and too much time in jail to take the risk. What good is it to save a planet with no wild life?

this is illegal, besides being cruel and indifferent to the beautiful animals. the law enforcement i slacking in so many ways. the animals desperately need protection from these bastards, and the consequences of killing these cats must be so severe .....such as life in prison, or decapitation. thank you, cher.

India needs to step up its laws on preserving the tiger. It also clearly needs a larger force of patrols. This problem is not going to be solved in any other way, but by force. A few shot poachers may give pause to those not willing to risk their lives. This is what it apparently has come down to.

Why are we surprised? It's a lot of money to a poor family.

Implement the mandatory death penalty for all hunters/poachers and all others involved.

The laws for illegal trade in all animals must be world wide. I realize to some that are very poor it might mean the difference in having something to eat or not by taking money for doing this, but there in lies another problem.
It is time for all in this dirty trade to face huge fines, and long jail time - the punishment has to be harsh to stop this.
Thank You Cher.

China and the Asian countries are mainly responcible for some species of animals being on the verge of becoming -extinct ,if there was no demand for the body parts of the elephant -and rhino for -trinkets and the disgusting -horrific starving of the magnificant Tiger to make -wine of all things from their -emaciated bodies -they could live in -peace-but soon they will be -gone -only a picture in a book.-instead of pleading with these countries-to stop their insane ignorance and cruelty they should be -shamed -world wide.

The indians aren't much better than the chinese when it comes to protecting wildlife.

If they know the hot spots, why aren't they shutting them down and prosecuting those involved? We need laws to get this and trading parts of all animals shut down and those involved executed.

If there is a demand for Tiger, Rhino and Elephant parts sadly the killings will continue, because it looks like people just don't get it, using animal parts for curing your ailments, making you more sexually potent or living for 150 or 200 years old will NOT work, if it would work, don't you think that the ancestor of these people would have been cured from their ailments, be really sexually vibrate and would still be still alive??

Poor tigers! Their plight breaks my heart. People there will never learn! They should be sued and serve a prison sentence.
