I have said this before and I will say it again, if I am killed by a wild animal, I do not want that animal hunted and killed. If a human kills me that is different, but as human populations grow wildlife is simply trying to survive and should not be killed because of it.

As humans encroach into animal territory, this will be a part of that tale. Build up not out. Leave them room to be and they will leave humans alone. Don't kill them for being what they are.

As humans, we, worldwide, feel we can build and live where we please. Well, here is an example where this is not the case- and its going to take more tragedies to make us realize we in fact share the world.

In the past humans attacked by big cats were usually due to the cat being injured or aged and infirmed in some way thereby being unable to hunt. Humans are easy targets for such an animal. There are far too many inhabitants encroaching on habitat today. In this case I think the humans were seen as competing for territory. Definitely do not kill the cat.

Too many people, they are running out of territory to hunt. Noted, thanks Cher.

Very sad indeed but these animals were here first so we must learn to live in harmony with them. Thank you.

I agree with Brenda Nelson.
Leave the animals alone to lead their life. The fault lies with humans encroaching on animals territory. If an animal kills a human there is a reason.Animal s are just trying to survive. If a human kills it is murder.

No one wants a farmer killed by a tiger, but at the same time, I don't want the tiger killed. Perhaps they can move him to another, less populated area?

Trap and relocate-as planned- is the only solution, officials will probably not break the law for some local's request. Thx.

These animals are just trying to survive! It is humans which are taking their land through deforestation, farming and ranching, and then taking their lives illegally through poaching! These tigers cannot be blamed for the terrible situation man has brought upon them- they are victims struggling to survive without even sufficient food or cover of forest to hunt! They shouldn't be killed. The officials should trap and relocate them. I pray for a day when people stop this terrible deforestation of our planet and realize that our forests is what sustains our ability for all live to survive on our earth!

The ignorance become a law, the local people do not think at all: that tigers are a breed endangered and the man is invading their territory, once very large
So the answer to an animal attack is the same as centuries ago when these dangers to the survival of tigers not existed.
Poor earth !!
Noted thank you dear Cher

What can we do?The animals have little space to live in and tragically people are getting killed, well, even so,what would you do,if the same happened in your area of living? This is sad and tragic for all.

Way too many humans on this earth. Build a fence around the humans and leave the tigers and other animals alone. These people are intruding on the tigers land.
