How did the sled dog survive in the Alaska wilderness? She did what she always does: ran.

Maybe she was running away from her life. Did you look at that last picture? These dogs lived chained up, maybe that's okay for a robot, but not okay for a dog.
I don't care if people make a choice to get in a boxing ring and beat each other senseless, they make that choice. What choice do these dogs have?

May, you are one astounding dog. What a long journey you had, and I am so happy you didn't have to run the last leg of your journey.
Thanks Cher.

I suspect there are dog sledders that are good to their dogs and those that are not. I suspect that abandoning May makes this driver one of the bad ones but I have not studied the handling records of the drivers. I recall reading "Call of the Wild" in high school and am certain that it anthropomorphises the dogs too much but there is enough "pack sense" if you will, to have brought May back to her pack, and good for her.

What a miserable second picture. Too bad the dog had no where else to run -away.
