In a sad mix-up, the English Springer Spaniel clocks a staggering number of lonely air miles.

Airlines seem to be able to mix up anything that you can't keep on board with you. This mix-up was probably from someone not paying attention to how the travel crate was labeled.

Hendrix may never trust crating again. What a terrible experience for him. Dogs understand screw-ups, but can't always trust the next attempt to get them on board.

A disease is over running the USA- it's called dumbitis. It strikes without warning and seems to affect those under 45 most strongly. It affects everything from wrong change at the store because dumbitis can't count; to sending dogs to Ireland cause it's spelled P-h-o-e-n-i-x.

I would love to get sent to a foreign country for the price of in nation travel.

I can't imagine it happening to my dog. She can't even handle a car ride.

Hendrix, what a terrible time you have had. I don't think this beautiful dog is going to want to use frequent air miles
Thanks for this article Cher.

I would never fly my pet on a commercial airlines, when there are flights that are for animals only. The animals are in cages in the body of the plane with a tenant to watch them during their flight. They fly to all major hubs. You must assume some of the responsibility if you put an animal on a commercial flight. How many horror stories is it going to take before people stop doing this. The good thing is, airlines will not be flying animals into Phoenix soon because of the heat for the next 6 months.
