Perhaps all children grow up reading William Blake's beautiful poem The Tiger. Not all of them, however, are fortunate enough to sight the tiger in the wild. And if poachers have their way, who knows the future generations may forever be denied the heart

The way things are going, how many are being killed, I don't know if it maybe sooner then people think, God help them!

Education is vitally important. The knowledge and respect instilled in children will be carried into the future, changing old ways of thought. (Let's hope the cats last that long!)

I worked for Parks & Rec in college. We parked our vans in the old zoo. Once nite I walked down to the zoo - it was closed and very quiet. I always loved the big cats so I visited them all. The Bengal Tiger was SO exquisite...just stared deeply into my eyes. My heart broke that they were so confined. When the new Henry Doorly Zoo began construction, I volunteered to raise money for the "Cat House". We raised SO much money. Now the HDZoo is HUGE...takes a whole day to walk it and see everything. It's one of the top zoos in the nation. Now the animals have natural habitats - it isn't the same as them living in the wild, but it's better than living in a roadside cage or being poached or raised for meat or being abused in a circus.

I wonder to what extent the average Indian child(under 15) knows about the desperate situation the tiger is under.
More than likely, they know only fear: instilled by their parents who have created villages in areas they should not.

Simple effective solution is to implement the mandatory death penalty for all hunters/ poachers and those involved in this horrific murdering of animals

Put the armies out to watch out for these creatures and kill the poachers on sight. Put up hidden camera's to catch these poachers.
