is a web site I like to go to every day. You answer questions and right answers get you leaves. 12 leaves makes a branch. 15 branches plant a tree. You can choose your level of challenge. Me, I keep it at the lowest level of challenge so I can get those leaves onto the branches and plant me another tree.

Not only Elms, but other trees also need our help. The more trees we grow, thje more CO2 gets extracted and 'sequestered' from our atmosphere and the less 'global climate fluctuation' we'll need to put up with. Whether it's a majestic oak or elm, a measley poplar or stolid birch, or even voracious vegetation like bambú, such growths offer a far more effective solution to CO2 pollution than artificial subterranean 'sequestration' scams and stupid government pie in the sky non-solutions.

At a time when another major ecological organization has been accused of anti-ecological activity (the EPA, no less), it is good to read of one that gets it right!

Fort Lee Historical Society asks you to sign this petition which will be delivered to the Fort Lee Mayor & Council and Fort Lee Zoning Board of Adjustment to Save the historic Rambo's Saloon building on 2423 First Street. This building, which dates back to the Civil War era, was used in the early 20th century as a film location, dressing room area, and meeting place for many of the early film pioneers and studios when Fort Lee was the first American film town. DW Griffth, Mary Pickford, Lionel Barrymore, Mack Sennett and many other film pioneers developed the American film industry in their work on this property in this structure. This is the most important surviving building in the Borough of Fort Lee that was used during Fort Lee's days as the first American film town and this building helped give birth to the American film industry.
