Petition signed. This seems like discrimination. What needs to be done is get a petition to get those that decided this to be taken out of office. Only then will they do the will of the people and stop serving only the few that can afford to pay them for their vote.

Signed! I think we should require video cameras in all facilities that handle livestock, so that abuse of animals will be stopped- so that we don't have to rely on getting undercover video- and of course make the video feed go to a humane organization, not the owners of the facility!

Companies and individuals need only be worried and fearful about the presence of either covert or overt cameras, if they are doing something wrong or illegal, as is obviously the case with many if not most factory farm units.

Singed and noted. Thanks for sharing. Factory farms are evil places that thrive off of cruelty to animals and should be shut down and the people that work there re educated to love and respect animals instead of being cruel and killing them.

"Sunlight is the best disinfectant." Bullies, cowards, sociopaths, criminals land abusers look to prey upon the defenseless, victims behind closed doors where there are no witnesses to get away with it. Only transparency and report with consequences can have effect in stopping this or at the very least, punishing, fining, firing those individuals. Anyone who would support this is looking to hide something. It is wrong on every level! This is bad for us and horrific for our intelligent, defenseless, sentient animals.

We cannot allow big corporate entities, such as big AG to run roughshod over us and our animals. They would love for us to go away and let them self govern, read: do whatever they want. They must be held accountable and the only way to do that is to have more access, not less. NO banning camers, NO harm/arrest to whistler blowers and NO passing AG-GAG Bills!

Signed, not that it'll do any good here in Nebraska. After all, it was Mike Johanns who introduced a bill last August that would ban the EPA from conducting aerial surveillance of ag operations "for one year. Although I have made multiple requests for the EPA to provide a clear and complete account of the size and scope of its surveillance program, these requests have gone unmet." He goes on to say, "The EPA’s history of imposing overreaching regulations on our farmers and ranchers has rightfully made many in the agriculture community skeptical of the agency’s actions." I doubt he had a problem with Bush's warrant-less wiretapping, but just let someone spy on Big Ag--! So I can't imagine him caring about anything but Big Ag, and as for the other two, well, they both seem to be lockstep with the GOP's agenda. Since Johanns isn't running again it's possible my fellow Nebraskans will wise up and elect someone who'll represent the people of the state--but I look around at my coworkers, and, well . . .

Why do they want to ban these cameras - Are they ashamed of something they are doing that they don't want the public to find out???

I like the idea of a camera at EVERY facility involving animals!!
