Thank you for taking action - tweeted

My message:

This proposed pipeline has the potential to be a long term danger to our national interests. We have seen, as you know the damaging effects this pipeline has had in the state of Arkansas. Please consider the contamination this pipeline will do to our wild life, the natural habitats to our aquifers our farm lands and to the air we breathe. The jobs you mentioned in your speech in San Francisco are temporary jobs. No more long term than any other pipeline that has been built. We do need long term solutions to the many damages already incurred by reckless destruction of the bounty given us by nature. We dare not continue on this course. I plead with you to consider the needs our children and our grandchildren, of what we are leaving them rather than the desires of the Oil companies. It is not better to leave at least the beginning of a solution than more damage that is irreparable?

S & N the insane destruction of our natural habitat is just beginning. I am mad as hell at all fucorporations doing the destruction and furious at president Obama for selling us out! When is this destruction going to stop? What major accident will it take to get people too see the devastation forthcoming? BP's destruction of the Gulf of Mexico was not big enough, the calamity in Arkansas, the nuclear meltdown in Fukushima. 9/11 sure brought on the attention to the American public and my heart bleeds for the 3,000 killed, but that is NOTHING compared to what is coming. I may be wrong (truly hope I am wrong) but hard science is a FACT!

President Obama seemed like such an environmentally-friendly President for such a long time--I suspect he was forced into this by Congress (which isn't so environmentally-friendly).

I was proud of SF demonstrating against the pipeline when the President visited there this week. I signed and included my personal note on the petition, and tweeted @followers@barackobama@senatorsanders@msnbc. BTW Senator Sanders discussed the impact on the environment if the Keystone pipeline is allowed on the Bill Maher show tonight. Thanks Cher.

Last night on Bill Maher the conservative stooge talked about the 10,000 permanent Union jobs this would create. But sober economists have said that it wouls create 50 permanent jobs. And since most ot the states it would run through are union unfriendly nd since Texas, the state where the jobs woud be located is not a place where unions get a chance, they wouldn't be union jobs anyway. But the certainty of devastating spills could destroy the aquifer that supplies the upper Midwest (where so many of the red states are) could end up destroying the water supplies for millions, all for those 50 jobs and the low grade oil headed for China.

So much damage has already been done to nature. But the profiteers and their stirrup holders in politics all over the world don't care a dime. Let us show them more and more "red cards"!
