Only a month old, this little survivor has been through a lot. Most likely bought at a nearby auction, where piglets as young as 2-3 days old are sold for a few dollars, she somehow escaped whomever purchased her. Running loose, she was picked up

I'm glad she was saved, but, sad for the millions of animals that die everyday so that people can have something to go with their potatoes.

I am glad she was saved. I have something to go with my potatoes.....green beans and sliced tomatoes! Nothing can beat that!

The idea of eating a being who is more intelligent than some people, makes me feel ill.

Good news for this little piglet but millions are no so lucky. If you eat animals or dairy, you are responsible for the cruelty that exists towards animals. Make a compassionate choice to go vegan and save an animals life. As long as the demand is there, these animals will suffer and it is not necessary for you to eat meat or dairy. The choice is your's.

Wow Lucille you made it to a good, happy life.Very good news. It is sad that the shelter was more interested in the money they could make from her than her safety. It always comes down to the money. The word shelter means safety, but sadly not for the animals that are sent to these places.Refusal to allow the sanctuary to take her says a lot about this place.Shame on that shelter. Bless those that did all they did to save one little piggies life.
